Bridget Theunissen
TriathlonIn 2017 I was chosen to represent South Africa in the Cross Triathlon World Championships. I was beyond excited, especially when I finished 2nd in the race. That event sparked a fire inside of me, and ever since I have been determined to go as far as I possibly can in triathlon. Pushing myself every day and doing what some would call “crazy” motivates me even more. Since then I have gone on to compete in various Continental Cups, World Cups, and World Championships. My goal is to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics Games. I have suspended my Honors in Sports Science for the time being to put everything I have into achieving this.

- 2022 - 22nd at the u23 World Triathlon Championships in Abu Dhabi
- 2022 - Competed in the Arzachena, Bergen and Valencia World Triathlon Cups
- 2022 - 2nd at SA Triathlon Champs
- 2022 - 2nd at African Cup Maselspoort and Troutbek
- 2021 - 2nd u23 and 4th Elite African Triathlon Champs
- 2017- First International Triathlon Race. Came 2nd at the Penticton Cross Triathlon World Championsips
